ENGINEERED, NOT ASSEMBLED

Every system your business runs on, engineered as one.

Digicks is a custom software development company building the web platforms, mobile apps, SaaS products, ERP systems and AI automations that growing businesses actually depend on. Written in code, not dragged into a page builder. Architected once, so it holds up at ten times the load.

Most companies don't have a technology problem. They have a fragmentation problem.

“One partner for every system your business runs on.”

Your website was built by one agency. Your app by a freelancer. Your inventory runs on a spreadsheet that one person understands. Your marketing team reports numbers that don't match your backend. Nothing talks to anything else, and every new feature costs more than the last one.

That isn't bad luck. It's what happens when five vendors each solve one problem without owning the architecture underneath.

Digicks takes the opposite position. We design the data model, the APIs and the infrastructure first, then build every surface — site, app, dashboard, automation — on top of the same foundation. One system. One team accountable for it. One place to look when something needs to change.

Eight disciplines. One engineering standard.

Each service stands on its own. Together, they remove the integration tax you're currently paying.

Web Development

High-performance web architectures, custom-coded from the first line.

We build with server-side rendering for sub-second page loads, headless CMS integrations so your content team ships without a developer, and an API-first structure that lets the same backend serve your site, your app and your partners. Core Web Vitals are treated as a build requirement, not a post-launch cleanup task.

Ecommerce Development

Storefronts that stay fast as the catalogue grows, with inventory that reconciles.

Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Magento or headless — chosen for where your catalogue is going, not where it is today. One stock figure across your storefront, physical locations and marketplaces, and a checkout that doesn't leak conversions to load time nobody has measured.

App Development

Native and cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Fluid 60fps animations, gesture controls that feel native to the platform, and offline data syncing so the app keeps working in a warehouse, a basement or a bad network. Backed by cloud infrastructure that scales with your install base instead of buckling under it.

Custom SaaS Engineering

Multi-tenant cloud products engineered to scale from your first ten customers to your ten-thousandth.

Isolated multi-tenant database architecture, automated subscription billing, role-based access control, and secure API portals for your customers and integration partners. Built so that onboarding a new tenant is a configuration change, not an engineering project.

Enterprise ERP Solutions

Resource planning that matches how your business actually operates.

Custom business logic instead of forced process changes. Real-time inventory and supply chain tracking, barcode and logistics digitisation, and central operational dashboards that give your leadership one version of the truth — updated continuously, not compiled every Monday.

AI / ML Operations & Automation

Predictive intelligence and workflow automation applied where it pays for itself.

Autonomous AI agents for repetitive operational work, custom NLP pipelines trained on your own data, and predictive analytics that forecast demand, churn or capacity. We scope AI against a measurable process cost, so the outcome is a shorter cycle time — not a demo.

Technical SEO & Digital Marketing

Search visibility built on architecture, not guesswork.

Technical SEO at the code and crawl level, programmatic content structures that scale to thousands of qualified pages, complete schema markup, and conversion rate optimisation grounded in behavioural research. Because the fastest site in your category is wasted if nobody can find it.

Digital Marketing & Performance

Paid acquisition, conversion optimisation and analytics that reconcile.

Google, Meta and LinkedIn campaigns measured on acquisition cost rather than impressions, conversion work on the pages that actually convert, and tracking that agrees with your ERP. Run by the team that can also change the landing page.

What “custom-coded” actually gets you.

Speed that survives contact with real traffic

Server-side rendering, optimised asset pipelines and lean dependency trees. Sub-second loads on the pages that matter, measured on real devices and real networks — not a lab score.

Architecture you can build on for years

Clean data models, documented APIs, sensible separation of concerns. Adding a feature in year three should cost less than it did in year one. With most template builds, the opposite is true.

No generic AI templates. No page builders.

Every system is written for your business logic. That means no plugin conflicts, no licence fees stacking up, no ceiling you hit the moment your requirements get specific.

One accountable partner

Your website, app, ERP and automations sit with one engineering team. No vendor triangulation when something breaks. No integration work billed twice.

A build process designed to remove surprises.

STEP 01

Technical Discovery

We map your current systems, data flows and bottlenecks before proposing anything. You get a written architecture brief with scope, timeline and cost — not an estimate that moves later.

STEP 02

Architecture & Design

Data models, API contracts and interface design are finalised and approved up front. This is where the expensive mistakes get caught, while they're still cheap to fix.

STEP 03

Engineering Sprints

Two-week cycles with a working build at the end of each one. You review real software throughout, not status slides.

STEP 04

QA, Performance & Security

Automated and manual testing, load testing, Core Web Vitals validation, and a security review before anything reaches production.

STEP 05

Launch & Scale

Deployment, monitoring, documentation and handover. Then ongoing optimisation — performance, search visibility, conversion — as your usage grows.

Deliberate technology choices, not defaults.

We select stacks based on your load profile, team capability and five-year cost — then document why. No lock-in to tools that only we can maintain.

Three ways to work with us.

Fixed-Scope Project

Defined deliverable, fixed price, fixed timeline. Best for a website rebuild, an MVP or a single ERP module.

Dedicated Engineering Team

A ring-fenced team working only on your roadmap, billed monthly. Best for SaaS products and long-running platforms.

Growth Retainer

Ongoing performance, SEO, conversion and feature work on a system already live. Best when the build is done and compounding gains matter more than launches.

Questions we get before the first call.

What exactly does a digital engineering agency do differently from a normal web agency?+

A web agency delivers a website. A digital engineering agency designs the data and API layer underneath it, so the same foundation can serve your app, your internal dashboards and your automations later. It costs slightly more up front and considerably less over three years.

How long does a custom build take?+

A marketing site typically takes 4–8 weeks. A mobile app or SaaS MVP takes 10–16 weeks. A full ERP implementation is scoped in phases, with the first working module usually live within 8–12 weeks. Every timeline is confirmed in writing after technical discovery.

Why not just use WordPress, Shopify or a no-code builder?+

For simple, standard requirements, those tools are a reasonable choice and we'll say so. They become expensive when your logic gets specific — plugin conflicts, performance ceilings, licence stacking and workarounds that no one can maintain. We build custom when custom is genuinely cheaper over the life of the system.

Do you work with our existing codebase and team?+

Yes. We take over, audit and extend existing systems regularly. The engagement starts with a technical audit so you know what you're carrying before we commit to a plan.

Who owns the code?+

You do. Full source code, documentation and infrastructure access are yours, handed over at the end of every engagement. No proprietary lock-in.

How is pricing structured?+

Fixed-scope projects are quoted after discovery. Dedicated teams and retainers are billed monthly. In every case you receive a written scope and cost before work begins.
